Hey. I'm making a DirectX game. (Check it out http://www.psloz.com/coh.htm). We already have an basic DirectX engine (it initilizes everything).

But see, I had an MFC programmer and he was making a field/dungeon editor that interacts with the game's engine. Unfortunately, his job got in the way and he had to leave.

On top of that, we also need a regular C++ game programming to add simple classes to the engine. Like a class that'll move a block or swing your sword. Simple things.

This is a free thing. I don't have alot of money to spend right now >_<. What I'm really looking for is either an MFC programmer who can finish up the editor (it is already been started...we just need a few things done like making the maps stay on the screen and saving and such. I'll explain more if you wish to join.) and who can understand my game's engine because once the fields/dungeons are done in the editor, they have to be passed through Direct3D (were using DirectX 9.0) in order for them to be displayed. The Editor creates 2D fields/dungeons (whole game is 2D) We just need the editor as of now to make maps and save the maps and make them display on the screen. Then, we'll add more things to it.

But, this won't all be at once. I want to do one thing at a time. We'll do one thing for the editor until we have more resources if needed such as designs or sounds.

Overall, the game's designs, sounds, and so on are going well. The sounds for the game are done. Music is almost done. And field designs/NPC Designs/Village designs/dungeon designs are all done. We just need the MFC programmer to pick up where the other MFC programmer left off.

But, why do I need a C++ programmer? Scripts. If I find an MFC programmer to finish the editor, that person can add an "add script" function to the editor and we can add scripts to objects such as trees, NPCs, what have you. These scripts are simple really. Nothing to complex. 2D isn't that hard. Just be lucky my game isn't in 3D ;-p.
