Implementation of bulletin board and group calendar in Java

Hi All,
I am pretty new to Java programming and help from the experts will be
highly appreciated.I am required to implement bulletin board and group calendar
in Java.I have no clear idea how to go about it.It will be very helpful
if somebody can point me to examples,sample codes or any other resources
in this regard.
