Central European chars in a ListBox

I would like to print out in a panel, specific central european
characters, I took a look on the java.awt.Font class but no Times CE or
Arial CE was given when I called getFontList of the java.awt.Toolkit.

How can I set the Font style of a Panel in order to get a proper output
when printing a string containing special accents on characters with
graphics.drawString.

The same question: which property of a ListBox shall I modify in order
to have a proper output when adding Strings containing central european
characters?

All this in an Applet.
