Web.Config File Explanation

Hi All

I am a new bee in asp.net

can any one tell me the meaning of tags mentioned in web.config file
like <authentication mode="Forms">
<authorization> etc...

if not all, then atleast give me some idea of some tags which are commonly used and really usefull.
