Is it possible to insert special characters such as mu (that weird u thing seen in weights like ug = micrograms). I guess I need to insert just one character from a different font but I can't figure out how.

hi scooter,
First you have to understand this: Normal text boxes can have only one font. That means you cannot switch your font for just one character. For this you will have to use a RichTextBox. In that change the font to symbol and insert the character 109 or lowercase 'm'. That must do it.
