MTS with Oracle 8.0

Hi ,
my front end app(in vb6.0)is trying to connect to oracle 8 via MTS.i have installed oracle 7.3 client in the m/c where mts is loaded and connected to ORacle 8 database but my front end using ado is not connecting via mts.Any ideas?Thanks in advance.
