Hello,
I am trying to capture the output of a DOS program. I have posted this question here before and someone replied with some great code, but seemed to lock up on occassions. I wondered if there was a way to read the screen buffers from a DOS prompt regardless of whether the App wrote to stdOut or stdErr or directly wrote to the screen buffers. I have seen a program that does this very well. It is called PFE (Programmers File Editor). I contacted the author and this person will not reply to my question, so I came here to get some help. Anyways, if you know of a way to read the output from a DOS promt that will work no matter how the DOS app outputs the text, please reply...
Thanks,
Jared Hoylman
