Help-Hurry:Data Report with Parameter Query

I am using the data environment (mistake number 1) and a data report to display a complicated sql statement that requires a parameter. I can run the sql in access and it works as expected. However, in the properties for the Command object it refuses to show a parameter! How do I get parameters into the Command objects Parameter property page?
