Showing a textbox

i am making a calculator program and you no that they're are 3 texboxes on top of eachother. because one is when you type in something, then you hit the + button, then it changes to another textbox, and you type something else in, then when you hit te = button, it shows another textbox with the answer. i already no how to add it its jus text3 = text2 + text1. i want to no whats the code for making a textbox show up. thanks

Use the visible property.

text1.visible = false

...will hide the box

text1.visible = true

...will show it again.

Rather than use three text boxes, try using one box and declare two numeric variables instead.

Set the variable to the values in the text boxes.
Then, add them and show the answer.

That way, you won't have to worry about showing or hiding boxes.
