Hi !

I'm a VC++ programmer and I need to deal with a small VB(6)-program for a
project I am working on.
Could one of you VB-Gurus pls tell me why my textboxes are not grayed when
I set them to disabled state ?? This shouldn't be a hard one ...

Thanks for your help,

Matthias.

This is just by design, instead the Text itself is grayed.
If you want the background of the Textbox grayed you could change it yourself, eg.

Text1.BackColor = Text1.BackColor = RGB(192, 192, 192)

Hi !

thanks for your answer.
I still think this strange way for a textbox to behave.
When creating, showing and then disabling a textbox using
the Windows-API, the textbox is displayed grayed.
Why not when using VB ??

Anyone else got any hints on this ??

Regards,

Matthias.
