Error 3734, when opening Access2000 mdb (using DAO 3.6)

I get error 3734 in a multiuser environ. when a DB is open by one user and other user tryes to open it. App written in VB6, accessing Access2000 .mdb
and using DAO 3.6 It seems to be some 'lock' case but I don't find any error description in MSDN, neither know I how to manage this problem. (Jerry)

I ran into this problem on a Novell Network. For me it came down to permissions not only in the database but also the directory where the database is stored. The directory needs read/write permission because of the .ldb file.
