Multiple Views?

I have a dialog based application, that requires 2 views being displayed at the same time. I have achieved this, however only 1 of the views seems to be attached to the document class. This poses the following problem: I need to be able to access all menu items (in mainmenu bar) when the I click in either view. I don't know how to attach the 2nd view to the document class (I assume this is the problem). Can this be done? How?
