How to update graph using threads in real time ?

I want to update a line graph using threads which will in turn generate
random numbers. i.e random nos r used to update the graph in real time.
Graph is running in the front end.X-axis is time in seconds
and y-axis is random nos generated.An analogy can be given to that of
Nt performance monitor.Please help .
