I am working on a long 5 month project with a group of new programmers. I myself have not been programming very long, but understand the basics and a little bit more of C# and VB.NET. I currently lead the project and coordinate everyone else's moves including teaching them what I know. Am I considered the senior programmer of this group? According to what I've heard thats what I would be called since I am leading the group and teaching them what I know. What's your opinion? Thanks in advance.

You may be leading this group and more senior than the group members, but you aren't a senior programmer.
