I have been looking all over for some insight into how to paint the Header Control item's border. I have a sub-classed CHeaderCtrl and the rect passed to the DrawItem method is correct, but them MFC paints the border and it does it in system colors. I want control of the colors used to draw the border.
Does any guru out there have any ideas? Is it related to the NC area? I have searched this site and checked all the relevant samples, but nobody addresses border painting.
