ADO & OLE DB

Just a little question for ADO experts...

Is it currently possible to use ADO object directly over an OLE DB provider, without an ODBC stack between ADO and OLE DB?
(I am using ADO in ASP page with VBSCript.)
Help, URLs, arcticles, or source samples will be higly appreciate.
