there's nothing you can do. The mail server you are using is obivously regarded as a junk-sender by yahoo and rediff. (Junk-sender being a technical term :) )

If you own the server, you can contact these providers and ask them to stop filtering your server. If not, see beginning of this post.

Thanks for the reply.

However i have also noticed that, sending mails with web.mail delivers mail into the recipient's inbox. but the same sent with net.mail delivers into the junk.

I have one question, although this is regardless to the topic.
How to verify the email address? whether it is considered as a spam-sender or not? I have also marked it as "Bypass Greylisting".

I have an email address : info@xxxx.com (xxxx replaced herewith the actual domain) Now how to tell yahoo and rediffmail that this is not blacklisted or graylisted email id.

I have gone through the email header of yahoo and rediffmail and found the following:

Return-Path: <info@xxxx.com> - This doesn't work (mail goes into spam)
From: <info@xxxx.com>

Return-Path: <xxxx@gmail.com> - This works (mail goes in the inbox)
From: <xxxx@gmail.com>

So how does yahoo or rediffmail verify my email address ? and what can i do so that they don't consider it to be a spam-sending email id.

Thanks
MMH

They verify the domain from where the emails comes not the whole email addresse. If your domain is registered as serious email provider you won't have any problem. Otherwise you have one. And I think you can not do anything. I can not believe that Yahoo will rank your domain as serious email provider because they do not know you or your domain.

All you can do is to inform your customers that they should put you on their own white list. Then your emails will not end in the junk directory.

edit: There are several other reasons why you can be ranked as spammer. Maybe you send several emails with the same content to different recipients or you send to many emails in a too short time to a email provider and so on.
