Entry Level Jobs

Hello all. In May 08 I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Programming and Information Systems. Since this time I have been trying to look for a job. The problem is that all of the jobs require experience. Even the ones that say entry level want 2-3 years of experience. I have a 3.76 GPA and know my stuff. I have just not ben given the chance to do any practical of professional programming or Information Systems realted work. I live in Nassau County Long Island New York. I know New York is very competitive and the economy is not the best right now but I feel that there has to be some companies willing to give me a chance. Any suggestions or help will be greatly appriciated.

P.S. For those who those who are professionals, what is the likely hood that a company will pay for further schooling (Masters Degree) What type of contract is usually negotiated? Or am I better off going for my Masters while I continue looking for work and cough up $60,000 to pay for the Masters myself.

My name is Darcy, I'm currently in the concept and partial recruitment stage of game design. I have a business plan organized but currently lack any funding whatsoever. Therefore, I cannot pay you until after you have completed your task.

Your task is as follows: Develop a proof of concept. Basically, its whats needed to show investors that we not only have the knowledge to develop a game with their money, but we will also make them profit. We need a programmer to do a mock proof of concept and then with support we will tweak it until it is considered viable as a pitch to investors. We need you to create a small chunk of game world that we can host some of the many game play mechanics. Our game idea is to not only to create a new style of MMORPG, but to use psychology in order to develop player immersion.

At this present time i cannot tell you the concept or any details about the game until I am sure you wish to help. Please reply ASAP with an answer to the following question:

"Do you want to work with us?"

Once we have heard from you we can go from there and hopefully develop a beneficial business relationship together!
