Subclassed CEdit - Create/OnCreate not called

Hello,

C_SpinEdit is a CEdit subclass for usage in a dialog. I've created the private member:
C_SpinEdit C_TestDlg::m_seTest;


In
C_TestDlg::OnInitDialog()


the control member is 'registered'.
m_seValue.SubclassDlgItem(IDC_SPINEDIT, this);


Somehow I can't hook up on the ::Create() virtual nor the OnCreate message handler.

How should the subclassed edit control know when to perform initialization???

Override PreSubclassWindow, instead overiding the OnCreate function.
