Hi,
I want to get the discription id from an idlist and tried the function ShGetDataFromIDList(..SHGDFIL_DESCRIPTIONID...). but i am wondering whether or not I can get the discription ids of the objects on my local machine. it seems that the SHGDFIL_DESCRIPTIONID format can only be applied to a network resource. Is there anyone who has tried it before?
Or can anyone show me a diffrent way to tell an idlist from a floppy disk to a fixed drive, and from a 3inch floppy disk to a 5inch one?
I am using Windows 98. VC++ 6.0
