We are looking for a talented Java developer to join our team as we expand to meet the needs of our growing company. As a business application developer, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, deployment and support of applications for the HR, Facilities and Legal functions within The MathWorks. You must have solid problem solving, analysis, and application development experience.
Qualifications
• BS in Computer Science and 2 - 5 years professional software development experience
• Solid experience in successfully constructing high-quality applications using Java technology
• Experience with web-based applications and object-oriented software design and implementation practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and database concepts (MS SQL Server Preferred)
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, XML
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
• Solid organizational skills.
