Is there another location where the system time is kept which is not changed when using the Control Panels's Date/Time calendar to browse dates?
The problem I am having is with 30 day trial software. If I open the Date/Time app in the control panel and select a future month just for observation, not hitting "Apply", my 30 day trial software expires immediately. I can save a notepad file with the date I have the Date/Time app set to also. Again I am not changing the cmos clock by pushing the "Apply" button. I'm only observing other dates then "Canceling" out. I use CTime::GetCurrentTime() to read the system time in my 30 day trial app.
