msvc 6 problem

After I installed VC 6, my system wants to connect to the internet upon boot. Does anyone know how to shut this off ?

I've never seen this prob before! Anyway, the only things I can think of are an incorrect installation or the program is querying you to register or update. What version (Pro or Std) of VC6 do you have?

You may want to try three things:
1. Check the Startup folder in the Windows Start Menu
2. Check the Control Panel/System folder for any ? (or other odd) icons
3. Consider reinstalling VC++6

VC6 Enterprice edition. Ooops I mean enterprise. :-)
