I am new to linux, please help me.
i have some problum to extract text from word doc (i want only non-formatted text not header information) and insert text into mysql table field.
i am searching past two weeks for this in various forums, but i was't got solution.
when i searching codeguru forum thread http://www.codeguru.com/forum/printthread.php?t=349100 i seen similar problum.
according to maximb who replayed to that query, i saw the first link http://jakarta.apache.org/poi/index.html.
and i tried to see example url http://sr2.mytempdir.com/87437. but this url is not opening and some server prob is there i think.
this is urgent prob to me, So please help me to solve this.
how you solved this. for pre-info i a m giving details below.
i am using fedora (COM support is not there),openOffice,php, and mysql.
please give all steps including installation if any new things, becz i am new for linux.
i am waiting for replay
