Source Control

I'm using VC++ 5.0 on NT 4. I was using Source Control on a project and want to turn it off. When I open the project I am prompted to login to the source control software. I press Cancel, then tell it that I don't want to be prompted again. But it prompts me every time. How do you turn this annoying little thing off? TIA.

If you are using MS Visual SourceSafe 6.0 you can try deleting the .ncb and .opt files for your project you are opening. If it asks you to reconnect to VSS, choose not to.
