Access 2000

I am trying to create a database and populate that database with Information in my app. I can successfuly create the database in Access 2000 but when I go the Data Form Wizard in VB 6 to bind my database to my app I am getting "Unrecognized format" when I point it to my Access 2000 mdb file.

When I do the same thing but create the database in Access 97 I dont have that problem. Why?????????

If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it....
