how can I let user copy and paste information from child area

I created a SDI application. Right now, I can't highlight and copy information from
the child area. How can I arrange it so that the user can highlight and copy information
from the child area, but not paste anything to the child area?

Any response anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated.
