Hello guys well im a newbie but i want to learn and got alot of time i really want to learn
so i need to know well i got visual basics express edition and getttin visual basics professional edition is way bigger for like 3gbs so is it the same program but just full with all features?

and can some1 pls name some books that i should buy to start learning
or will some1 pls teach me im a good learner pls Help :)

Well, you should start by learning to ask question in the right place. As you can see this is a VC++ programming forum, so you should ask questions about C++ here. For VB we have another forums.

VB Professional Edition does not have 3GB. That must be the entire Visual Studio, with VC++, VC#, Web development, etc. And MSDN. If you only need VB and MSDN for VB, I think you don't get more than 1.5GB. Is that a problem? With today's storage devices, I don't think 1.5-2GB is such a problem.

I have moved this topic to the VB.NET forum. You have not specified, so I assume you plan to learn VB.NET, and not VB 6. ;)

ive used to download tutorials with sources to learn the really basic things, then started to code my own applications and if couldnt code that what i wanted, ive always googled (this is how ive found this forum) for the answers.
