Hi,
I´m new to DirectX and DirectX media. I have created an application that
demonstrates different ways of playing moviefiles. I have used the
MediaPlayer and MCI so far. Now I want to implement a way to show it using
DirectShow (and later DirectDraw). My application has a main dialog with
the some buttons. Play, pause, stop and open file. Also there´s a button for
settings where I have some radiobuttons indicating what i want to use to
play the movie (mediaplayer, mci, directShow, directDraw). Depending on the
choice I do what is needed to get it to work, such as opening the device or
creating a playwindow.
Can anyone leed me in the right direction on how to implement dshow? What
includes do I need. Are there any classes I can derive from, to my
dshow-class? How do I use the interfaces?
I have tried to understand the MFCPlay samles in the SDK, but that refers to
a Doc/View App, which I´m not sure how to convert that to my needs.
Any help in the subject would be greatly appreciated!
Frederik.
