Hi!
I'm writing a program in MSVC++ 6.0 and it prints to a shared printer. It worked fine but from time to time it stops printing and an error message appears: " There was an error writing to \\client\kitchen for printer (kitchen). The network path was not found. This printer will be set to offline".
I'm connecting my 2 computers together with ethernet cards and I'm using Win98. The computers are on, the printers are on, the shared ressource is enabled and the network path is good. It works normally but suddenly it seems that my shared printer between the 2 computers disappeared. I can still use the shared drive but not the shared printer anymore. It works back normally when I reboot the 2 computers and set back the printer option to online.
Any helps on why suddenly it can't find the network path even though I didn't change anything ? How can I prevent this ?
