looking for certain kind of text editor

Hey I'm looking for a java editor (hopefully with syntax highlighting) that can have black background with bright color text, and looks like old command console type font/graphics

You can configure eclipse to your liking. If you don't want that, you could always install cygwin and use emacs command line editor that has syntax highlighting and you can turn your windows 'cmd' window to those colors by clicking on the little picture of a windows (with the c:\ in it) and going to properties.
