i agree, ppl on this site sometimes flame too easy, or too easily consider questions too 'stupid' to give an decent answer to.

on the other hand though, some ppl dont take the time to do a quick 'search' and ask a question which already has been asked a million times. I can see how that can annoy some of the regulars on these boards..

still, without excuse, the more experienced should either point newbies in the right direction, or not say anything at all.

Well, that post was aimed at someone (called PanasonicSubz) who thought it would be a great idea to :

- harrass people on the board
- call them stupid
- not read responses to his questions
- not follow up references included in the response to his answer

After continually swearing / insulting members of this board, I had no other option than to ban him - he then decided to login under a different name and post 30+ offensive mails.

So no, I don't think Dr Michaels post is 'stupid' - English is not his first language, and I think he was just as annoyed as everyone else on this forum with this idiot.
