Google chrome and smart client app

Hi,

I have an asp.net application which has a smart client application attached to it, the smart client app does some processing and sync back the data on server. The whole setup works fine on IE browser, however on google chrome browser it fails to open the smart client app.

Could anybody please highlight any security implication or issue with chrome browser that prevents this behavior?
