Has anyone actually done a side by side comparison of the Kindle 2 vs. paperback book, on a specific programming book? Is the Kindle 2 that difficult to "study" from?

Is the Kindle 2 that difficult to "study" from? Tom Frohman July 29th, 2010, 12:31 PM I have a Kindle 2. I think it is great for reading non-technical books. However, I haven't studied from a digital textbook on one. I would expect to be just as bad as trying to study from a PDF version of a textbook on a computer. I have found this to be a royal pain. It is inconvenient to jump back and forth in the digital text book. It is much easier to go back and forth in a paper book. Maybe it's my age showing. I'm still more comfortable using a paperback to study from. Just my opinion. Maejie July 29th, 2010, 09:59 PM Paper-books are cool, mainly available in academic school libraries. Before you retire, please buy paper-books and read, it is not too early anymore dglienna August 1st, 2010, 07:00 PM I won a Sony Reader. It should arrive in a few weeks. Not full-sized either. I'm not expecting much. codeguru.com
