Hi everyone... I'm learning vb on my own sorta, picked up a few books and got visual studio... preparing to go to college as a comp sci major... I've been working on a couple applications that use databases.. I was wondering if you could tell me how come when I put them on another machine they won't work though? I'm using visual basic 6.0..

Firstly, what version and type is your database? Is it MsAccess, SQL Server or Oracle, etc.
Secondly, what is your operating system type? Is it WinNT, Win95, Win98, Win2K... etc.
Another issue is the ODBC version on the machine too... as this has an effect on your database application, and what ODBC version your own application is using.
We need this information in order to help you out.
