Does anyone have a solution to using CArray's for > 32K items? I have toyed with building a custom class that contains multiple CArray members but was hoping someone had a more elegant solution.

MFC is not very portable.
How about to use STL array (it is called vector) ?

the STL is attractive, but this is a legacy app so I'm locked into using MFC (at least for the next several months). Is there a way to add STL to an MFC app in VC++ 4.0? I tried, but keep getting compiler errors on the vector constructor.
