Customizable Toolbars

I have some CToolbars in my app.
I call
m_ToolBar.GetToolBarCtrl().Customize();
and the dialog flashes up then immediately disappears.
Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Unfortunately, MFC does not give you this for free! Please grab the class at
http://www.codeguru.com/toolbar/customizable_tb.shtml
to implement this. Remember to pick the bug fix posted in the comments too. This will help for the floating toolbar.
