A menu is never part of the normal tab order, and when it does have the focus the order is left-to-right. So what exactly do you want to do with the menu (describe)?

Thanks for the reply..

When the focus is on any Menu item ( File, Edit ...), it is possible to move around the menu items ( Back & forth ) using ARROW keys , so the same should be possible with the TAB key( Which is not right now). The same is implemented in MS Word and MS Excel i.e TAB key is used to move around menu items(pl. have a look at it).

Unfortunately our versions of Word and Excel (V7.0) don't support tabbing for the menus. Presumably <TAB> moves down an item, <SHIFT><TAB> moves up an item, right? If so, how do you navigate to the next menu (i.e., move from the File menu to the Edit menu, for example - unless the tabbing only works on one menu)? Also, how to you move to sub-menus (popups) and back?

I have a feeling you're going to need a keyboard hook, because once a menu is active it has its own code embedded into HMENU APIs. I can't seem to find any info on how to get into this (HMENU API, that is), so I can't be of any use really. You might try looking at the Microsoft MSDN site and searching.
