I have to write a program that will answer a voice call, accept the user's code (entered in touch tone), then record his or her voice. I did everything the MSDN documentation said, but then when lineGatherDigits() failed, I called lineGetDevCaps, and I realized that my line device does not support this. So, does this mean that my service provider does not support this, or the modem does not support this? Also, I am very fuzzy as to what exactly a service provider is. It seems to me it is just some software that is installed and that controls the telephone. If someone could explain this to me, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Donna
