Hi, I don't know where to ask this so I'll just ask here because what I want to make is based on PHP.

so I want to make a culinary forum using PHP for my final project. but my professor told me to add something to the project because "developing culinary forum using PHP" is not good enough to be a final project. since I'm majoring in software engineering, I'm think about using a design pattern in my project but I don't know which design pattern will be best for developing a forum using PHP. can anyone help me with a suggestion?

Personally, I'd do something different since there are already hundreds of forum examples and sources already out there.

Since you want to get into culinary sharing, why not make an recipe sharing project. Something similar to allrecipes.com maybe?

well, the focus of the final project in my college is not what we make, but more about how we make it. the "culinary forum" part is just a decoration.. that's what my professor told me.

anyway, websites like allrecipes.com is already abundant in my college. so there's no way my professor'll accept it.

but thanks for the info tho.. I like the website. :D

If it's "how you make it," then we giving you advice would be helping you do your work. In the business realm that's one thing...for schooling, that's another.
