Keeping "Active Caption" on a Dialog that doesn't have the current focus

I have a popup dialog that is called from within another dialog. When I select the controls of the popup dialog, the focus moves to the popup and the caption bar on the main dialog goes to an inactive state/color. How can I retain the look of an active window on the main dialog while the focus remains on the popup dialog? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
