I have used MSCOMM to dial out on my modem and communicate - no problem. Does anyone know if MSCOMM can be used to answer a ring on the line and then begin data communication. If so, what is the sequence of calls? I assume the port must be open, and I assume that the "ring detected" will be generated when the phone rings. What must I then do (if anything) to begin communication? How do I verify that I am in data communication and it's not a voice call? I appreciate any help on this as the documentation is sketchy.
