I'm sure some of you have heard that Blizzard's Diablo 3 beta has started. Anybody can download the Diablo 3 Beta client, but if you don't have a beta key, then you won't be able to log in and play.
Well a "team" of programmers are developing a server emulator (not a crack) by which the Diablo 3 Beta client will be able to communicate, allowing others not in the beta to play. The emulator is called D3Sharp and its repository can be found here: https://github.com/raistlinthewiz/d3sharp. It's being programmed using C#. Anyone can contribute to the project, but you need to register with Github in order to do so (if you play on contributing through Github that is). The project also has its own Wiki here: http://diablo3dev.com/w/Main_Page.
The project will be an interesting learning experience.
