Changing Menu of IE through an ActiveX control

I want to change the menu of internet explorer when an OCX control, embedded in the HTML file, is activated. I am using MFC for creating the control. The usual OnGetInPlaceMenu works fine with the test container but not with IE.
Please reply immediately.
