ActiveX from *.asp

Does anyone know where to find information and some code examples of implementation of ActiveX controls embedded in Active Server Pages? There must be a book somewhere, but I can't find it.

I have committed myself to a project that requires a variety of controls (i.e., slide controls, dynamic graphs, etc.) to be used via the internet. The way I see to do this is using ActiveX controls, Active Server Pages, and VBA scripting. If anyone has a better idea on how to accomplish this, please let me know.
