How to get bytes downloaded

I have made a ras client that connect to an isp how i can calculate bytes in and bytes out in runtime

I have a some problem. In Windows 2000 you can use function RasGetLinkStatistics. But it does not work for Win95/98/NT.
If you find how to do it also for Win95/98/NT, please give me know.
