ColdFusion is a web development tool. The most significant feature of ColdFusion is that it can talk to Databases ( query and update the databases) on the fly via web.
It is very simple to learn. You do not need to know any other language to start using ColdFusion ( For example...ASP requires you to know VB or at least familiarity of VB).
