I tried using both PDW and visual studio installer for my application and am surprised to see they include different dlls (a few) for the package. which is more accurate?

In visual studio installer, error messages are displayed that certain dlls are invalid. I tried checking the system registry but could not find those dlls.

can some one offer me a solution?

thanks

Boss,

As I can tell you, the PDW is better. although, it also prompt you to search for some specific files. And please ensure to understand the dependencies for the control before you start using PDW. This helps when you actually find files. There is a file called setuu.lst You can modify that file to custom your setup
