want a selection box routine

Hi.

i'm looking for a routine to implement a selection box. i've done one but i don't like it very much. i just want to be able to draw the selection box into a window DC, and when i click again stop drawing the selection box and it to stay like it is.

well, or something like that, a selection box. anyone?
