Linking EXSYS and Visual Basic

Hello everyone,
I am working on a school project. I need to put a front end on my EXSYS program. I was told the easiest way to do this is by using vb, but I do not know how to link the two programs together. If anyone could give me any advice or point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

PS EXSYS is simply a program that makes kbs' (knowlegde based systems). Thanks again.

1. Which language your are used to develop the EXSYS, If you used any database mention the database name and its related things.
2. what You want to develop using with VB.
3. Why you need to like EXSYS program to VB.
